According to reports, 81% of Canadians eat pizza at least once per month. That's millions upon millions of pizzas eaten yearly, but which toppings and styles do Canadians love the most?

Hawaiian
Believe it or not, Hawaiian pizza was actually invented in Canada. In the mid-1960s, a small restaurant in Southern Ontario called The Satellite decided to put pineapple and ham together on a pizza.
Since then, it's become one of the most popular pizza styles in Canada and the US. It's also one of the most divisive; the pineapple on pizza debate may rage on forever...
Canadian
The typical Canadian-style pizza is topped with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, mozzarella, cheddar, and tomato sauce. We're not sure what makes this combination explicitly "Canadian," but it's hard to argue with it.

Pepperoni
When you think of pizza, your mind probably goes straight to a cheese pizza with slices of pepperoni on it. It's the classic American-style pie, but one that Canadians get behind as well.
As with all of the pizzas on our Favourites menu, there are no topping substitutes on a pepperoni pizza. We're not sure why you'd want to do it anyways.
Deluxe
A deluxe pizza is a bit different at every pizza place. We call ours a "Romeo’s Special" and top it with pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, mozzarella, and tomato sauce.
What makes a deluxe pizza great is that it's got the best pizza toppings, and they all blend together perfectly. Some people are skeptical of mushrooms, and others are averse to green peppers, but when combined on a pizza with a smattering of pepperoni - perfection.
Meat Lovers
Some Canadians prefer a meat-heavy diet, which is why meat lovers' pizza exists. When you order Romeo's meat lovers pizza, you'll get pepperoni, salami, ham, and Italian sausage with our homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella.

Vegetarian
